Journey
The Georgia Collection
Thirteen pieces about survival and hope, made at night in Tbilisi.

The Georgia Collection is a series of thirteen pieces made while Paradise Shoman was living in Tbilisi, Georgia, during a challenging period.
Most of the work was done in the quiet hours of the night, through sleepless nights of fear and stress, and held together by hope. It is drawn in black ink and pencil.
Wisdom, one piece from the series, shows a calm landscape of mountains and trees with a figure resting under a palm. The collection as a whole is about survival, and about hope and faith in an uncertain time.
