Magical nights
Strawberry Rush, Nocturnal Bloom and the work that begins after dark.
Night appears again and again among the things that inspire Paradise Shoman. Several works began on what the stories call magical nights.
Strawberry Rush was born from a surge of feeling on one such night, drawn with black and coloured ink, pencil and watercolour on a wooden board.
Nocturnal Bloom was painted on an inspired night in 2018 with thyme seeds, watercolour, chocolate and coffee. In 2024 she renewed it, framing it with recycled paper, chocolate, coffee and acrylic colour.
Flow of Serenity, with mandarin peel, watercolour and ink, takes its calm from the night as well.
