Art in the park
Work hung from the branches at an outdoor art market in Braga.
Photographed December 2023
At an outdoor art market in Braga, photographed in December 2023, Paradise Shoman's work was not pinned to a wall. Drawings and paintings on paper were tied with ribbon to the branches of a tree in the park.
It is the idea behind the Living Grove in a single picture: the tree as a gallery, and the work met outdoors, among leaves and light.
“I feel like the trees talk to me. When I see a tree, I see a piece of art.”
